I make music with Suno. Sixty-eight songs in, it needs the treatment a small label gives its catalog: one source of truth, and tooling around it.
How it's organized
library/
masters/ WAV masters + manifest.tsv, the source of truth (one row per song, with its Suno ID)
mixes/ FLAC/MP3 listening copies
songs/ one folder per song: files, lyrics, style prompt, notes
releases/ album assemblies: track order, art, sequencing notes
tools/ songprint, reference-tracks
ideas/ one folder per idea, shown in IdeaBoard's Suno root
A build script regenerates the index from the manifest and flags anything incomplete, such as missing audio, unindexed mixes or lyrics not yet on file, which keeps the catalog consistent. The manifest is checked against the songs published on my Suno profile, so every published song has a WAV master on file.
What it feeds
- songprint measures a track so lyrics fit it.
- reference-tracks is the prompt side.
- The music-funnel skill mines this catalog first when it looks for new music ideas, and lands its Suno ideas on the IdeaBoard.
